Members of the local legal fraternity gathered this week for the Ceremonial Opening of the new Law Term. The occasion was marked with the traditional Ecumenical Service at the Kingstown Methodist Church and was conducted by the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Christian Council. The ceremony was followed by a procession of the members of the Bar, Police Officers, and Prison Officers from the Methodist Church to the Court House where a Guard of Honour was assembled in the Court Yard. There was also a special sitting of the Court, which was held at the High Court of Justice.
